Hey RG, thanks for getting back to me! :)

I haven't gotten back to my NaNo yet, but It is gonna be soon, since I had other (non-writing) projects to finish first...
I'm still aiming for a readable draft before the beginning of next November, since I want to write the first sequel of the cycle at the next NaNoWriMo! :)

Yeah, but I'd like to have something finished and readable by friends, family and agents at some point in the future before the end of the decade, which leaves me one year to get one of my manuscripts in shape...

I haven't gotten back to writing yet since NaNo, but I'm planning on doing so soon. I think Login will be my first target, I'll start by trying to read it! :P

Thanks for the layout bit, but I have the good people at WordPress to thank for it... I wish I was the one who came up with it... :P

As for flow, I think I'll stock up on moleskines and just go at it... This way I can write anywhere and everywhen, I can even jot down notes when I'm around people and not seem like a total jerk by whipping out the laptop and starting to type away...

And without distractions like Facebook and the NaNoWriMo forum, I think the notebook is a procrastination-safe solution...

Bud, I totally understand what you're talking about in regards to writing implements vs. the modern word processor. Just last night I couldn't get my thoughts down on the computer, so had to turn to my notepads and pens.

I think it's a flow thing, but I don't know. I just sometimes find a PC, a screen and the space between too dividing. There is a certain poetry to putting pen to paper.

Nice new layout by the ways.

No, no. Whatever you do, don't publish anything but snippets here - I merely meant in the means of being kept in the know on how it's going.

Have fun now.

Oddly, despite the kind of gravitas world I created, I think mine will be one of love primarily, power and the journey of both.

I'm keeping you on my blogroll though, I want to see where RttOE goes.

We seem to be in parallel, Jan. I am currently attempting to flesh out bodies too and I, as you, am considering spanning from one story to another in a different time. The only issue is the correlation of events and how they might effect the second 'timeline' characters...

It's all very curious, and I'm not sure which way to go but I imagine it will work itself out somehow.

Best of luck, bud.

What's most intriguing, is the idea of all these 'hollow' bases around the planet; all these copies. It lends itself to being somewhat eerie in hat sense - like an empty, 'haunted' house.

I could have seen this alien world being constructed in a much simpler way, but with the habits they have, which seem a lot more animal than concious and these duplicate, shell-like bases... well it's a creepy, yet logical touch.

Nice back drop, Jan. I understand the idea of keeping a certain value in the view of both sides. I myself, am trying to attain that in Arbiture. It's not right or wrong, or good and bad but two sides with different points of view trying to survive.

Which side the reader comes down on is obviously gained through a well-written, balanced story... or you turn one-side over the edge of understanding and destroy your empathy with them.

Still enjoying it.

Very nicely written timeline.

I can imagine James Earl Jones narrating this at the beginning of an epic film... (that's a good thing).
